Sculpture, fiber art
Mo Kelman is a Providence-based sculptor and Professor Emeritus at the Community College of Rhode Island. She holds an MFA from UMass Dartmouth and has received fellowships from the NEA and the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts. Her work merges architectural structures with fiber techniques like shibori-dyed silk to create ephemeral, translucent sculptures inspired by natural phenomena like clouds and water.
