DESCRIPTION
Casey Baden is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Los Angeles. Originally from Houston, Texas, she earned her BFA from New York University and her MFA from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). Her practice explores the material relationships between textiles and painting, incorporating techniques such as natural dyeing, weaving, and rug tufting. She is also a co-founder of Full Service Creative, an artist-run fabrication studio and exhibition space.
