Born in 1955 in Los Angeles, Julie Easton is a contemporary artist known for repurposing everyday recycled materials—such as Q-tips, cigarette paper, and bicycle inner tubes—into elegant sculptural and painterly works. Her process-driven practice explores themes of order, beauty, and environmental responsibility. A graduate of CSULB, she has integrated her art practice with a long career as an ESL teacher, viewing both as creative forms of connection and storytelling.
