Land Art
Michelle Stuart is a pioneer of Land Art who explores the relationship between nature, memory, and geologic time. She is well known for her large-scale site-specific installations and her use of organic materials—such as soil, rock, and graphite rubbed onto paper—to create tactile works that record the physical essence of a place.
