Kelly Akashi is a Los Angeles-based sculptor who works with glass, lead crystal, wax, and bronze. Her practice often incorporates casts of her own body and botanical elements to explore themes of time, touch, and materiality. She studied at Otis College of Art and Design and the University of Southern California.
