Writing, drawing, architecture
Renee Gladman is an interdisciplinary artist and author whose work explores the intersections of poetry, prose, and abstract line drawing. She is well-known for her Ravicka cycle, a series of novels set in a fictional city-state, and for her "prose architectures" that treat the sentence as a physical, architectural space. A recipient of the Windham-Campbell Prize and a Radcliffe Institute fellow, she has exhibited her visual work across the United States and Europe.
