Hanna Leka is a first-generation Ethiopian-American photographer and fiber artist based in Washington, D.C., and Southern California. A graduate of George Washington University’s New Media and Photojournalism program, her work focuses on the nuances of the East African diaspora, exploring relationships between identity, culture, and migration through documentary and conceptual projects.
