Cynthia Talmadge (born 1989, New York) is an artist whose multidisciplinary practice explores themes of contemporary Americana, tabloid culture, and emotional states. She is known for her labor-intensive sand paintings and immersive installations that investigate the aesthetics of mourning and celebrity rehab. She received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design.
