Ljiljana Blazevska (1944–2020) was a Serbian-Macedonian painter born in Skopje and based in Belgrade. A long-time member of the Serbian Fine Arts Guild (ULUS), her practice focused on a unique post-surrealist mythology populated by hybrid creatures and dreamlike landscapes. She referred to her approach as 'poetic infantilism,' exploring deep psychological dimensions and the boundary between the conscious and the dream state.
