DESCRIPTION
Brent Birnbaum was born in Dallas, Texas, and is based in New York. He received his MFA from the School of Visual Arts and a BFA from the University of North Texas. His artistic practice focuses on the repurposing of found and obsolescent objects into sculptures, collages, and performance pieces. He is also the co-founder of Topless, an exhibition space in Rockaway Beach, New York.
