Sculpture, Light Art
Keith Sonnier was a pioneer of the Post-Minimalist movement and one of the first artists to use light in sculpture during the late 1960s. He is best known for his innovative use of neon tubing and industrial materials like glass, wire, and latex to create light-based installations. His work often explored the interaction of light with architectural spaces and reflected his Cajun heritage.
