DESCRIPTION
Based in Buenos Aires, Macchi works across video, sculpture, and drawing to explore themes of chance, time, and urban existence. He often incorporates found materials such as newspaper clippings and maps, using minimalist gestures to de-familiarize everyday objects. He represented Argentina at the 2005 Venice Biennale.
