Bari Ziperstein is a Chicago-born, Los Angeles-based artist and the founder of the ceramic studio BZIPPY. Her conceptually driven practice explores consumerism, propaganda, and the built environment, often drawing from Soviet-era design and brutalist architecture. She received her MFA from CalArts in 2004 and a BFA from Ohio University in 2000.
