Donald Judd was a leading figure of the Minimalist movement, although he preferred to describe his work as specific objects. He utilized industrial materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and Plexiglas to create geometric forms that interacted with the surrounding space. He is also known for founding the Chinati Foundation in Marfa, Texas.
