Lauren Lee McCarthy is a Los Angeles-based artist and programmer who examines social relations in the context of automation and surveillance. She is the creator of the p5.js coding library and a professor at UCLA Design Media Arts. Her work has been exhibited at venues such as the Barbican Centre and Seoul Museum of Art.
