DESCRIPTION
Ophelia Arc is a Queens-based artist with Chilean and Peruvian heritage who uses crochet as a primary language to explore psychoanalytic themes of trauma and childhood memory. She earned her MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and is known for corporeal textile sculptures that investigate the fragility of embodiment.
