Cathy Diamond is a Queens-based artist known for biomorphic paintings that fuse nature and figuration. Her imagery is developed from sensations and memories of the natural world, such as insect flight paths and woodland environments. She received her art education at the University of Michigan and the New York Studio School and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Art at the Borough of Manhattan Community College.
