DESCRIPTION

Jeffrey Bishop is a Brooklyn-based abstract artist who explores the intersection of traditional painting and digital technology. Born in Berkeley, California, he received his BFA from Tufts University and his MFA from the University of Washington. His work is influenced by diverse subjects such as physics, cosmology, and jazz. Bishop has exhibited at the Seattle Art Museum, the San Francisco Museum of Art, and the Institute of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, and he has been a member of American Abstract Artists since 2018.
