Ellen Chuse is best known for her vibrant, color-saturated abstract paintings on paper inspired by organic forms in nature. She received her BFA in Fine Arts Sculpture from the Philadelphia College of Art in 1967 and her MFA from Queens College in 1971. A former sculptor and recipient of a Fulbright-Hays Fellowship to Italy, her current work focuses on the emotional impact of color and lyrical form.
