Joy Makon is a painter of representational watercolors based on observations of contemporary daily life. A signature member of the American Watercolor Society, she captures light and texture in landscapes and seascapes. She holds a BFA in graphic design and photography from the Tyler School of Art and worked for over 35 years as a magazine art director before devoting her time to fine art.
