Ruby Que is an interdisciplinary artist from Shanghai, China, now based in Chicago. They hold an MFA in Film, Video and New Media from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BA from Cornell University. Their work utilizes site-specific intervention and moving-image performance to explore absence, haunting, and the experiences of itinerant immigrants. Que was named a 2023 Breakout Artist by Newcity Magazine.
