Allen Moore is a Chicago-based interdisciplinary artist, educator, and experimental turntablist born and raised in Robbins, Illinois. He holds a BA from Chicago State University, an MA from Governors State University, and an MFA from Northern Illinois University (2016). His practice explores signifiers of Blackness and Afrofuturism through performance and visual media, often using materials like graphite and organic matter to cast records and create textured drawings and sculptures.
