Interdisciplinary Art
Adela Goldbard is an interdisciplinary artist-scholar from Mexico City who explores the politics of memory and violence through radical community performances and spectacular pyrotechnic installations. She holds an MFA in Sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and serves as an Associate Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her work investigates how destruction can serve as a ritual statement and aesthetic tool of resistance.
