Margot Bergman is a Chicago-based artist known for her unique "collaborative" process in which she adds her own surreal, expressive figures to found paintings purchased from thrift stores. Active in the Chicago art community since the 1950s, her work explores psychological interiors, gender, and identity through a lens of neo-expressionism and surrealism.
