Interdisciplinary
Adee Roberson is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice explores the movement of the Black diaspora through a synthesis of painting, video, sound, and performance. Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, and now based in Los Angeles, her work often features technicolor palettes and symbolic abstractions that function as meditations on memory, healing, and spiritual landscapes. She has been an artist-in-residence at ACRE and the Echo Park Film Center and received the Los Angeles Artadia Award in 2021.
