Everlyn Nicodemus is a Tanzanian-born artist and writer based in Edinburgh. Her work explores female identity, trauma, and the history of the African diaspora. She has also made significant contributions to the study of African modern art and was the first Black woman artist to be the subject of a monograph in the Modern African Artist series.
