Deniz Pasha (b. 1985, Al-Ain, UAE) is a Sudanese-Turkish painter based in Istanbul and Bodrum. She studied at Chelsea College of Arts and Design in London. Her practice, notably the "Blood Memory" series, examines the historical and contemporary experiences of the African diaspora in Turkey, using figurative portraiture to address themes of identity and socio-political visibility.
