Ceramics
Deirdre McLoughlin is a Dublin-born ceramic sculptor now based in Amsterdam. Her practice is characterized by slow, meticulous coil-building and highly polished surfaces, resulting in abstract ovoid forms that explore internal volume. Her aesthetic was significantly influenced by her time working with the Sodeisha group in Kyoto, Japan.
