Ceramics
Alison Britton is a leading British ceramicist who emerged in the early 1970s as part of a radical group of Royal College of Art graduates. Known for her hand-built sculptural vessels that challenge the boundary between art and craft, she was awarded an OBE in 1990 and has held significant retrospectives at the Victoria and Albert Museum and other international venues.
