Ceramics
Babs Haenen is a Dutch ceramic artist famous for her expressive, slab-built porcelain vessels. Her work often incorporates painterly layers of colored clay and intricate textures inspired by abstract painting and natural forms such as water and rock formations. She was a professional dancer before turning to ceramics and has taught at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy for nearly two decades.
