Thomas Huber is a Swiss painter whose work creates an ironic and illusory architectural world. His figurative, metaphysical paintings often depict lecture halls, museum galleries, or public squares, serving as 'paintings about paintings' that reflect on the role of the viewer and the social function of art. He studied in Basel, London, and Düsseldorf and has been a professor at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig.
