Robert Gober is an American sculptor whose work is characterized by meticulously handcrafted versions of ordinary objects, such as sinks, doors, and human limbs. His practice explores the psychological and political dimensions of domesticity, religion, and sexuality. He was the subject of a major career retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in 2014.
