Gerda Maise is a Basel-based visual artist whose practice involves the creation of "soft sculptures" and site-specific installations. Working frequently in collaboration with Daniel Göttin, she co-manages the art space Hebel_121. Her work often utilizes textile materials and found objects to explore themes of presence, absence, and the subjectivity of perception.
