DESCRIPTION

Imran Perretta is a London-based artist whose work explores power, state surveillance, and identity in post-9/11 Britain. Drawing on his South Asian heritage, his films and installations investigate the human impact of government policy and the marginalization of Muslim communities. He was named a Turner Prize Bursary winner in 2020 and is known for works such as 'the destructors' and his debut feature film 'Ish', which premiered at Venice Critics' Week in 2025.
