Jenkin van Zyl is a London-based artist and filmmaker known for immersive, hallucinatory installations centered on film. His work explores themes of queer subculture, fantasy, and bureaucratic absurdity through elaborate sets and grotesque costumes, often featuring fantastical communities of ghouls or humanoid rats. He graduated from the Royal Academy Schools in 2021 and has exhibited at institutions such as the Hayward Gallery, FACT Liverpool, and Somerset House.
