Julia Bennett is an American artist living and working in London. Her practice is described as a ritual way to grieve and contemplate the remediation of landscapes neglected by human consumption. Incorporating research into mycofabrication and bioremediation, her paintings often reflect on the relationship between a colonized Earth and its possible futures. She completed her MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art in 2022.
