Johnny Izatt-Lowry was born in Durham and is currently based in London. He is known for his unique painting technique involving the application of dry pigments and pastels onto surfaces like crepe and linen. His work focuses on the collective processing of imagery in a digital age, creating dreamlike and hazy depictions of quotidian objects, still lifes, and figures. He holds an MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art.
