Fani Parali was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, and lives and works in London. Her practice is recognized for the creation of 'lip-sync operas,' where performers mime to synthesized audio works within ambitiously scaled installations. Her work addresses concepts of 'deep time,' caregiving, and the fragility of human experience. She completed her postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy Schools in 2017.
