Francisco Rodriguez was born in Santiago, Chile, and is based in London. His paintings occupy a space of magical realism, featuring a visual language influenced by Japanese anime, film, and South American literature. His work often probes the stage of adolescence, exploring themes of violence, nostalgia, and the contrast between safe and menacing spaces. He earned his MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art in 2018.
