Tania Bruguera is a Cuban performance artist and activist whose work focuses on the relationship between art and political power. She is well known for projects that interrogate social control and human rights, such as her behavioral art school Cátedra Arte de Conducta and the Institute of Artivism Hannah Arendt (INSTAR).
