DESCRIPTION
Heesoo Kwon is a multimedia artist based in San Francisco who founded 'Leymusoom', an ongoing autobiographical feminist religion, in 2017. Her work utilizes digital technologies like 3D animation and AI to reimagine matrilineal histories and matrilineal liberation. She earned her MFA from UC Berkeley in 2019 and is a recipient of the San Francisco Bay Area Artadia Award.
