DESCRIPTION
Roco Córdova is a vocalist, composer, and improviser born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Their work incorporates extended vocal techniques such as throat singing and overtone singing combined with electronic processing. They hold an M.A. in Composition from Mills College and have toured extensively as a vocalist with the Art Ensemble of Chicago.
