Éric Antoine is a self-taught French photographer who spent fifteen years traveling and documenting the world using analog methods before transitioning to ancient photographic techniques. Around 2010, he moved to the French countryside and eventually to the mountains to focus on the wet plate collodion (ambrotype) process. His work frequently explores the passage of time, the protective power of nature, and an existential quest for simplicity, resulting in silver-toned, object-like photographs on glass.
