Goran Trbuljak is a Croatian artist and a pioneer of conceptual art. Since the late 1960s, his work has questioned the nature of the art system, the role of the artist, and the boundaries of institutional spaces through self-reflexive and ironic gestures. He represented Croatia at the Venice Biennale in 1995 and 2005 and is also a celebrated cinematographer.
