DESCRIPTION
Karl Karner is an Austrian artist born in Feldbach. His multidisciplinary practice bridges the fields of sculpture, performance, and dance theater. He is known for creating expressive bronze and aluminum castings and for exploring concepts of bodily perception and materiality. Karner studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna under Professor Heimo Zobernig and is a co-founder of the KS Room in Styria.
