Thomas Bayrle is a German artist and a central figure in European Pop Art. Born in Berlin and based in Frankfurt, he is known for his exploration of the "superform," where individual motifs are repeated to create large-scale, complex patterns. His work often addresses themes of industrialization, mass production, and the intersection of technology and society. He taught at the Städelschule in Frankfurt from 1972 to 2002.
