Born in Rome and based between Rome and Paris, Gea Casolaro's work explores the relationship between images, social history, and collective memory. Her research-based practice focuses on activating dialogues between diverse perspectives. She was a winner of the 8th edition of the Italian Council for her project 'Mare Magnum Nostrum' and has been exhibited in institutions such as MAXXI and the National Museum of Ravenna.
