Giuseppe De Mattia was born in Bari and is based in Bologna. His work explores the relationship between memory, archives, and contemporaneity, frequently using irony and satire to address the economy of the arts. He is involved in numerous artistic projects, including the founding of 'Libri Tasso' and Marktstudio, and collaborates with the collective Casa a Mare.
