Fabio Barile was born in Barletta, Italy, and studied photography at the Fondazione Studio Marangoni in Florence. His artistic practice focuses on the investigation of natural processes and geological time, often exploring themes like coastal erosion and land restoration. His work has been exhibited at institutions such as MAXXI in Rome and FOAM in Amsterdam, and he was a finalist for the MACK First Book Award in 2021.
