DESCRIPTION
Clovis Maillet is a French artist and medieval historian. He works in performance, installation, and film, frequently in collaboration with Louise Hervé. His research and artistic practice focus on gender fluidity and trans identity in the Middle Ages as well as the contemporary uses of history in art. He has been a resident at the Villa Medici and teaches at HEAD – Genève.
